Chapter 6

We took a quiz on Chapter 5 and started chapter 6- On Monday I assigned 7 problems from chapter 5, 1 from 1-7, 1 from 8-14, 1 from21-28....

YOu also need to look through the computer software on chapters 5 anfd 6.

We had a review day before our test on WEDNESDAY for most of the period until we could not take it anymore.

We covered chapter 4 on graphing quantitative data (histograms, stem and leaf, dot plot, time plot)

News:

1. Test on Chapters 2-4 on Wednesday, October 15th.

2. We have two AP reports out over the 2 chapters that are due on the 15th.

3. I assigned 5 problems from chapter 4 (1 histogram, 1 stem and leaf, 1 dot plot, 1 time plot and 1 of your choice) Due on the 15th.

4. I will collect workbooks on the 15th as well.

October 6th, 2008

We read through and took notes on Chapter 3. I assigned a total of 11 problems. the first one is either #1,2,3 or 4 and then you may choose any 10 from #8 to #40.

There will be a test after Chapter 4 next week. On Wednesday we will work on the computer activities and extra problems. We will begin chapter 4 on Thursday.

We finally got our wonderful text books!

We covered all of Chapter 2 including an introduction to the Active Stats and DataDesk software.

We played the Circle game and I assigned any 10 problems on pages 16 to 18 PLUS 24 and 25!

Due on Monday, October 6th.
